After-school tutoring and homework support in Curaçao

BrightSkills Academy helps students aged 11–18 organise their schoolwork, understand assignments and practise study skills in Willemstad, Curaçao. We combine supervised homework time with skills activities. We are part of Bright Club Foundation and are located at Biblioteka Nashonal di Kòrsou, Schottegatweg Zuid 36 / Fokkerweg 17.
Mathematics support is included on every attendance day. Chemistry, physics, biology and languages follow the daily schedule. Bring your schoolbooks, current assignments and questions to the intake, so the team can confirm which support is suitable and available. A dedicated specialist, private lesson or separate exam course is not automatically included.
Homework guidance covers the whole afternoon: making a plan, working through assignments and preparing for tests. Subject support focuses on a particular question or topic. We discuss school level, class, study materials and learning goals for VSBO, HAVO and VWO students. We do not promise particular grades or exam results.
Monday to Thursday
The general afternoon schedule is arrival and lunch from 12:30 to 14:00, homework and study guidance from 14:00 to 16:30, and workshops and activities from 16:30 to 18:00. You can request one to four afternoons per week. Preferred days, activities and the start date are confirmed after the intake. There is no BrightSkills study guidance on Friday.
What is included?
The study package includes mathematics support on each visit, other subjects according to the schedule, study planning, test preparation and projects. Activities follow the package limit and confirmed availability. A personal intake, progress information and a light lunch or snack are part of the offer. Clubs can also be booked separately; Dutch language training from Papiamentu, Spanish or English has its own programme.
Registration and payment
A parent registers the student using our secure form. Include emergency contacts and pickup arrangements. You receive an email when your application is submitted. The team reviews the request before confirming a place. After approval, the invoice, payment details and parent-portal invitation are sent by email and to the parent inbox. Pay through Sentoo or bank transfer using your unique client reference. Formal invoices and reminders are kept separate from WhatsApp updates.
Attendance and pricing
- 1 afternoon per week: XCG 175.00 per month, per student.
- 2 afternoons per week: XCG 250.00 per month, per student.
- 3 afternoons per week: XCG 350.00 per month, per student.
- 4 afternoons per week: XCG 450.00 per month, per student.
